General Loop FAQs
Why build a Loop?
When you build a Loop for the Loop Library, you get the chance to help people with their daily tasks while getting access to Olive’s growing healthcare network. Enhance your market reach as you monetize and showcase digital health Loops in our Loop Library — just like apps in an app store.
How do I submit a Loop to the Loop Library?
We have a handy list of steps to follow in order to be a Loop author in the Loop Library.
Can I submit a Loop similar to a Loop already made?
Yes, Loops can serve similar functions, but please make sure that your new Loop offers something that the other related Loops do not have.
Who builds Loops?
Olive and Olive’s partners (enterprise tech companies, startups, consultants, etc.) can create public Loops, which will be available to everyone through the Loop Library. Health systems and hospitals will also have the ability to create private Loops for their specific group. If you’re interested in becoming a partner, please contact us by clicking here.
How do I know if a Loop is popular?
The Olive Loop Library enables reviews and ratings, much like an app store. Olive also reviews each Loop prior to it being published in the Loop Library.
How long does it take to review a Loop once submitted?
Please give us a week to review the Loop, and If the Loop is approved, the Loop author will receive an email notification that the loop has been approved and is available to the public. If there are any changes needed for the Loop, the Loop Approval Team will reach out to the author with requested changes.
Please note: Make sure to add the Olive email domain in your Outlook address book or email address book, otherwise the email may hit spam filters.
How long does it take a Loop to get approved?
A Loop will be publicly available once it goes through a review process to ensure it meets product, engineering, and legal standards. The approval process should take no longer than a week, with an average review time of about three days. Of course, reviews can always take longer if edits/feedback are given to the author to update parts of their Loop.
Please note: a Loop that is available only to a specific organization should take no longer than two days to review. These Loops do not go through the general Loop review process, but rather we ensure they are able to be installed just for the specific organization.
What is the Loop review process?
Once a Loop is submitted, the Loop Approval Team adds the Loop to our test environment to evaluate it against our product, UX, legal, and engineering standards outlined in the Loop approval checklist. Please note: once approved, the Loop author will receive an email notification the Loop has been approved and is available to the public. If there is any feedback/changes that need to be implemented the Loop Approval Team will reach out to the author with requested changes.
How do I know if my Loop was approved?
Follow this checklist and make sure that all Loop information and metadata is complete and accurate. After you follow all the steps in the checklist and submit, you should receive an email letting you know when a team member is reviewing your Loop.
Please note: after your Loop is reviewed, it will either be approved or rejected, but you'll receive an email letting you know our decision.
What is a Whisper?
A Whisper is real-time intelligence that is communicated to humans. This information surfaces in the form of a card within the Olive Helps application.
